25 YEARS OF HISTORY

JV DAN was established in 1993 as a national producer and exporter of grain by the special decision of the cabinet of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR. In 25 years of history JV DAN gained a reputation of a reliable and experienced partner, both to agricultural producers as well as to global buyers.

Cargill Inc. became a co-sponsoring organization as well as the main partner on the global scale. Cargill , headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, was recognized as the largest private company in United States (Forbes, 2019).

The combination of experience and local infrastructure of JV DAN&nbspand worldwide export destinations offered by Cargill, unbuckled the enormous potential for the realization of the Kazakhstan grain.

Two linear grain elevators with overall capacity of 134 thousand tonnes

All the grain undergoes the quality control before and during shipment by international surveyors such as SGS.

TECHNOLOGICAL RESOURCES

Both grain elevators are equipped with the latest facilities to monitor the quality of crops, to ensure fast and secure loading, handling, storage and transfer of grain.

GRAIN TESTING

All crops undergo the grain testing in the laboratories equipped with the up-to-date technical base, that is regularly examined and maintained by qualified professionals.

Geography of deliveries

In 25 years of operation in the grain market JV DAN has established itself as a major exporter, maintaining high standards of Cargill. JV DAN has established itself as a major exporter of Kazakhstan’s grain. Keeping up with high standards of Cargill JV DAN quickly generated the reputation as a reliable partner and became one of the first members of the Grain Union of Kazakhstan.

The unique network of representatives, offices, granaries and silos covers the major Kazakhstan’s grain regions. This in turn allows delivering large volumes of grain crops worldwide in a short time. The clientele includes 33 countries, such as Russia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, China, Afghanistan, Mongolia, Iran, Italy, Turkey, Greece, Poland, Algeria and others.

JV DAN takes an active role in maintaining global food security, by being a proactive member of humanitarian projects in Afghanistan and Tajikistan under the auspices of the UN and the Red Cross.
